Chihkan Tower

The Chihkan Tower is an outstanding place a beautiful display of architecture, the picture speaks for itself,  if you happens to be in Taichung you can't miss this scene who seems to be taken out of a fairy tale.

Wanhe Temple

The Wanhe Temple in Nantun Village, Taichung, was finished in 1726 and it is in thanks to the spirit Mazu, like most of the oldest temples in Taiwan. Its main entrance is flanked on either side by two smaller entrances, with wood carvings of different designs adorn the traditional roof structures. In the interior, there are several shrines dedicated to Mazu that were constructed over the course of the next century and a half.

Dongshih

Dongshih is an urban town in Taichung County, Taiwan, and has a very strong population of Hakka ethnicity. It is located on a narrow plain, flanked by the Da Jia River to the west and a mountain ridge to the east. This town has many green spaces and farmlands, and it is very famous for its large and spherical pears.

Taichung

Taichung is the third largest city in Taiwan and also the gateaway to the Central  Mountains. It is central Taiwan (Taichung) and situated as you may suspect and I am not saying that you are Sherlock Holmes... in the middle of the west coast.
Many people feel that it strikes the perfect balance between boisterous city life and the breezy relaxation of countryside Taiwan. A beautiful place indeed.
